Assembly/disassembly of clamping ring hubs

Assembly

 

Before assembly the hub bores and shats have to be deaned, Prohibition of oil pollultion, Oils and greases containing molybdenum disulfide or other high-pressure additives as intemal lubricants mast not be used.

The same applies for the taper surfaces of clamping ring hub and damping ring

After deaning the taper surfaces of the inner and outer expansion sleeves, lubricanls such as molybdenum disulide can be applied;

Tighten the clamping screws evenly crosswise frst with 1/3 and aferwards 23 of the full ightening torque. Afterwards tighten the clamping

screes crosswise at the fulltightening torque. The process needs to be repeated until the tightening torque had been achieved with all screws.

Having started up the coupling the tightening torques of the screws have to be inspected during the usual maintenance intervals.

 

Disassembly:

Driving components faling down may cause iniury to persons or damage on the machine. Secure the diving componenits before

disassembly.

Unscrew the dlamping screws evenly one after another, During each rotalion every screw may only be unscrewed by half a revoluion.

Unscrew all clamping screws by 3-4 pitches.

Remove the screws located next to the extracion threads and screw them into the intended extracion threads until they fitThe camping ring is released by tightening the screws in the extracion threads evenly gradually and crosswise.

If these hints are not observed, the operation of the damping ring hub may be afiected.
